Great Ghost and History Tour

Capt. Wally was a fantastic tour guide. Very knowledgeable, friendly and fun. He provided Hawaiian history, mythology and ghost stories. The walking area was reasonable for all ages.

Learn something worthwhile - appreciate the islands more

This walk was awesome in every way.

Sure, we started out searching for a "ghost tour" in hopes we'd be spooked or feel tingles down our spines, but we found ourselves educated on countless aspects of Hawaiian history - feeling tingles in other ways.

The stories - from before and after white people ruined their idyllic way of life - were gripping and enlightening.

Combining the above with walking around/near some of the most sacred places in Hawaii was absolutely humbling, a feeling that's too rare these days.

Kim absolutely astonished us with her wealth of information and ability to answer any and all questions we had. She carries a Master's Degree in Hawaiian History, and is passionate about sharing what she knows.

We will absolutely be joining Kim for another walk around Lahaina when we make it back. If you care about the culture that served as the base of what makes Hawaii what it is today, you need to learn this content.

We had Wally as our guide. He knew what he spoke about. It was very interesting with him and his dog Tommy. Wally was once a captain of his own boat for many years. We loved his stories.

Ghost Walk / Lahaina History

The tour was an interesting perspective of Lahaina history from a former sea captain's point of view.

There are no clanking chains or people jumping out at you yelling Boo but he did a nice job describing some of the local Maui and royal family history.

The pictures show some of the sites we saw along the way.
